St. Mary’s School has offered a Church of England based education since 1863, and today we provide for children from nursery to Year 6. The school is Voluntary aided and works closely with the Governing Body to provide a high standard of teaching and learning. Our School is about people, individuals working together to achieve high standards in a happy, secure and supportive community.
The church and school are very closely linked with regular visits to the school by the clergy team, and regular visits from the children and staff to the parish church. This all complements the extensive ministry to our school by Naomi Malone, our Lay Schools Worker.
The school welcomes visits from prospective parents /carers and their children, to meet staff and look around the school. Please telephone the school or call at the school office to find out details of our open days or arrange a time to speak to the Head Teacher.
